ComTec Solutions Partners with Epicor Software to Debut One-of-a-Kind Event

Rochester, NY – ComTec Solutions partnered with Epicor Software to host the very first of its kind “Day in the Life” event in the US. This flagship event, which debuted on October 12, 2016, allowed manufacturers throughout the northeast to tour the Epicor ERP system in real-time at a well-established sheet metal fabrication facility. The tour granted access to real-life scenarios, featuring product demos, processes, interfaces, and tools across multiple key departments.

The open house format allowed guests to experience the Epicor solution in action and in real-time. Attendees had a chance to tour six stations: executive introduction, sales, production MES, finance, reporting dashboards, and manufacturing.

This event was held in Rochester, NY at AJL Manufacturing, an industry-leading sheet metal fabrication company that has used the Epicor ERP solution for more than 20 years. AJL employees were on-site to offer plant tours and offer insight into using Epicor in the real world.

Twenty-three people representing ten companies attended the event. With one hundred percent participation in a survey preceding the event, all gave positive feedback in regards to the event being informative, useful, and aligned with their goals in choosing an ERP solution.

“We’re honored to have a strong partnership with Epicor,” said Rob Moyer, President of ComTec Solutions. “We want to share our breadth of experience and expertise with the US market, and provide 360 degrees of information to demonstrate how Epicor ERP 10 can grow clients’ business.”

The event, a joint effort by Epicor and ComTec Solutions, a Platinum Channel Partner, demonstrated the close relationship Epicor has with its partners.
